Local governing body FUBA will have to find a remedy to the rain to enable it complete the post-season in time.
The game between last season losing finalists Kyambogo Warriors and UCU Canons failed to tip off due to a persistent drizzle that made the court at YMCA,Wandegeya unplayable as the post-season tipped off.
Even after volunteers tried to wipe off the water on the slippery courts it was not enough as FUBA officials announced on the public address system that the game had been called off for today.
“We have to call today’s games due to a wet court and we cannot risk the players health due to this,” Ali Balunywa, the FUBA technical vice president said. “We shall have the game played tomorrow at here at 6pm.”
