Golola opponent sets date for arrival

Hungarian  kick-boxer Andras Nagy is set to arrive in the country on December 5 for his dual with African super middleweight champion Moses Golola for the vacant WKF intercontinental super middleweight title fight on December 9 at Hotel Africana.

“He is arriving four days ahead of the fight to get acclamatized to the weather ahead of the fight,” Patrick Kanyomozi, the promoter of the fight said. “It’s going to be a tough and interesting fight and both fighters are up to it.”

It will be the Ugandan fighter’s first major fight that will lead him to greater fights in his career. The fight is being promoted by leading journalist Patrick Kanyomozi under his company Kweli Productions.

The fight is sanctioned by the Uganda Kick-Boxing Federation and will have a supervisor from World Kick-Boxing Federation,who will be president of the world body Fritz Exenberg along side Europe director Istvan Roman the main event will also feature six support fights with Kenya’s Kevin Owiyo taking on Kanda Kabonga from DR Congo it will also feature Sudanese fighters Michael Getbar from Southern Sudan taking on Abdul Nasser from Uganda in 70 kilograms while James Koul from Southern Sudan takes on Shakur Bwete of Uganda in 80 kilograms then John Ssebuyinza from Uganda battles Johnson Mugashya from Tanzania in 75 kilograms.
