Ssebugwawo wins Orange Mug of Mugs

Entebbe golfer Moses Ssebugwawo, maintained his status to claim his first Orange Grand Mug of Mugs golf tournament at Entebbe golf club over the weekend as he beat a strong field of 120 golfers.

Ssebugwawo maintained his poise as he finished the year with a total of 225 points to claim his maiden trophy at this picturesque golf course. On the afternoon he was not the only one celebrating his accolade Maxi Byenkya, who remained supreme through out the ladies calendar in Entebbe ended the season with 607.7 points to claim the overall ladies prize.

Andrew Kibaya playing off handicap 20 claimed the Nkata memorial with a score of 70 nett while Sam Zaramba and Gilbert Ojok with nett scores of 70 and 71 where runner-up and third in a highly competitive one day tournament that concluded the golfing season at Entebbe golf club.

Morris Ongwech, playing off his handicap of four was group A winner with 81 nett while Vincent Katutsi handicap 16 was group winner with 74 nett.

Aaron Ecel was group C winner with 74 nett and was playing off handicap 25. The ladies winner in Group A where home lady golfers Pauline Nambi with a score of 68 nett playing off handicap 23 while Byenkya was 69 gross and group B winner.
