Three games are set to roll in the reserve league in the USL that swings into action on Wednesday at various training grounds in Kampala.
Sports Club Villa’s reserve players will take on those of Water FC at Villa park in Nsambya. Maroons FC will take on Express FC at Luzira ground.
The reserve league is part of the resolutions made in the Jinja Declaration last year where by it was agreed that all the clubs in the league set up reserve games for the players. Police FC will take on Fire Master FC at Police Primary School Ground(Kibuli).
Several clubs have failed to adopt the system of playing in the reserve leagues as their several unused players that are on contracts or pay rolls of clubs that never get the opportunity of giving them a chance of playing.
Most of these players thus move for greener pastures elsewhere are being frustrated for too long.
