Bell USL match review: Bunamwaya Vs Proline

WHERE: BUIKWE STADIUM. KICK OFF 1600hrs. DATE: 10th/02/2012.

In what is expected to be a mouth watering tie at Buikwe stadium, 2009 champions Bunamwaya host Proline FC. Both teams had been expelled from the league by USLL for refusal to honour league matches that were not sanctioned by FUFA and have only been reinstated after the intervention of FIFA.

With the circus between USL and

FUFA now sorted, the two face each other in the opener of round two of the Bell super league with out any reason for absentism.

PROLINE TEAM NEWS: Coach Abdallah Mubiru will be in search for his second successive victory as Proline coach having beaten division one side DTMS in Bell Uganda Cup on Tuesday. Midfielder Gift Ali and experienced defender Abubaker Tabula have been ruled out of the encounter. Speaking to Kawowo Sports ahead of the tie, Mubiru was confident his guns will walk off victorious at the final whistle and will have no scape goats in case results don’t go his side’s way.

“Like every game, we go into this one confident of victory but can only opt for something less than that after a game’s progress by changing tactics. As for the long lay off with out football, that can’t be used as a scape goat for a loss or draw since our opponents have also been in a similar situation”, said coach Mubiru.

Squad: Mugabi Yasin (gk), Ausi Kaya, Kalungi Henry, Mukisa, Apollo Razak, Namwanja Simon, Okocha Julius, Kidega, Kadogo, Bosco, Bongole Anthony, Wulube Lopidia, Paddy Muhumuzza.

DID YOU KNOW THIS? Before transfer of ownership and change of name from Nalubaale, Proline’s home stadium was Buikwe stadium. None of the players in the Nalubaale side however currently features for Proline.

PREDICTION: Buikwe has always been a tough place to visit and come away victorious against a home team. Such coupled with Proline’s shyness infront of goal gives the hosts advantage over their opponents. I expect Bunamwaya to come out on top. BUNAMWAYA SC 2-0 PROLINE F.C
