Water FC did a double over KCC FC in the Bell Uganda Super League this afternoon at Luzira Sports ground after registering a hard fought 2-1 win over the Yellow boys.
The City lads fell to an early lead by the modest side when Ronald Musana, put the Water boys infront, but KCC levelled matters after Siraje Turyamuhebwa cooly slotted in from close range in the 21st minute after a right in swing cross from Michael Birungi, but the wasteful KCC players, who should have bagged all the maximum points paid the prize when Joseph Kayira stabbed the ball late in the 81 minute to give his side all the three valuable points and push them too fifth on the log.
It was the second time that KCC FC was losing to Water FC in the league having fallen too them by a similar scoreline in the first round this comes in the wake of them being bundled out in the Bell Lager Kakungulu Cup this week by Maroons FC.
Elsewhere Express FC climbed to the top of the league with a 1-0 win over Police FC while FireMasters FC lost to early season pace setters Masaka LC 1-2. Bunamwaya SC beat Proline FC 3-0 while Simba SC drew 1-1 with Victors FC.
