Team Ikong started impressively in season two of Castle Lite Friday Night Lights basketball championship at YMCA courts in Wandegeya on Friday.
Joseph Ikong led from the front scoring 11 points for his side as they beat Team Afidra 28-22 as they seek to retain their title for a second year running.
Edwin Katerega and Maureen Amoding combined combined with eight and six points to steer Team Koma to a 32-20 win over LK4. Sudi Ulanga, sunk a high 14 points for the losing side, but that alone was not enough for them.
Team Blick beat Team Wazee 28-23 with Norman Blick, scoring 14 points in a loopsided affair.Team Mukiza was a 38-36 win over Team Enabu.
