URA Opponents Arrive, Hosts Determined.

Lesotho Correctional Services, the Lesotho Vodacom premier league defending champions jetted into the country yesterday evening.  The Maseru based side will play Uganda Revenue Authority, (URA) in the first leg of the preliminary qualifying round of this year’s Orange CAF champions league.

Alex Isabirye’s side lost Steven Bengo to SC Villa recently. His squad had had a big blow when they lost

last season’s Bell Super league top scorer, Hamis ‘Diego’ Kiiza to Yanga Africans of Tanzania.

Currently, URA boast of another league top scorer in Robert Sentongo. Alex Isabirye will need to finish it from Nambole so as to have a comfortable trip to Southern Africa. He says, they don’t want to concede at home. URA beat Utoda 3-0 in their last league game.

The visitors are second in the Vodacom Premier league. Having played 11, won 6 and lost 2, they are 4 points from the table leaders, Lesotho Defence Forces who have amassed 25 points from the possible 33.

Women, primary and secondary school students will have free entrance. Covered stands will go for 3000 shs. and 10000 shs pavilion.
The match officials who are from Rwanda and Kenya will arrive tomorrow. The visitors will train in Namboole tomorrow according to CAF requirements.
