National Kick boxing Supermiddle weight Champion Titus ‘hard Rock’ Tugume today morning started preparations for his May 11 bout with Ukrainian Reich Viktor. Reich is Tugume’s opponent for the vacant World Kickboxing Federation (WFK) Intercontinental title in full contact.
Speaking to Kawowo Sports from his Najjanankubi training gym the UPDF soldier assured this reporter that he has been in the right shape since his last fight. Tugume last took to the ring on 29 October 2011 when he beat Malik Kaliisa to the national title. “I need to be in shape at all times because I badly need an international title,” said Tugume.
The USPA kick boxer of the year also confessed not to know a thing about his
opponent though he preferred not to dwell on that. “Yeah, it’s true am yet to see how the fights, but that can’t make me loss concentration,” Tugme said. The two met in Europe though he never got to see Reich in action, but the latter did see the Ugandan.
Emma Kiwalabye who manages Tugume and Kweli Promotions CEO Patrick Kanyomozi are doing everything possible to find Reich’s videos for Tugume to preview. “Am on it, is important that Titus (Tugume) gets to know every detail about his opponent. So latest next week we will have found the videos,” Kanyomozi said.
