Bunamwaya continue pursuing their second league trophy when they visit Hoima- Busia at Bugembe stadium on Tuesday.
Bunamwaya sit four and five points behind table leaders second placed URA and table leaders Express respectively in the race for the title with less fifteen games remaining.
A good run of endless wins was brought to an end by Victors in Jinja two weeks ago but the loss of the defending champions URA at the hands of Masaka will surely boost the Buikwe based side.
With first team starters Godfrey Walusimbi, Ronald Sekubomba
and Cesar Okhuti all recovering from injury, they are back in time to lineup against Hoim-Busia after representing the Uganda cranes against Egypt last week.
Peter Oguttu’s Hoima-Busia were the late inclusion in the league and almost became the surprise package after registering the first win against Maroons in Luzira.
They had to wait 11 more games to collect maximum points against Utoda which meant all their two wins have come away from home.
Not only have Bunamwaya been hard to stop but they have done so playing an attractive brand of football which has won them plaudits from supporters and rivals alike.
Bunamwaya’s star men this season have been Tony odour, Okhuti and Kizito Luwaga upfront not to mention Robert Kimuli, Sam Senkumba, Joseph mpadde for their distribution skills.
The back four of Walusimbi, Nicholas Wadada, Edward Ssali and Sekubomba for their discipline in safe guarding custodian Hamza Muwonge will also be counted on to stop Hoima-Busia.
Man to watch: Edgar Luzige: being the clubs top scorte (6) he also has roots in Bugmebe and would love to score seventh of the season infront of the home crowd.
Probable lineup: Hamza Muwonge, Nicholas Wadada, Walusimbi Godfrey, Sam Sekubomba, Edward Ssali, Hakim, Senkumba, Robert Kimuli, Simon Sserunkuma, Luwagga Kizito, Caesar Okhuti, Tony Odur.
Substitutes: Joseph Ssebuliba, Murushid Juuko, Joseph Mpande, Juma Balinya, Dumba Sadala, Edgar Luzige, Martin Muwanga
