Ugandan athletes who represented Uganda at the 13th World Athletics championships in Daegu last August, Annet Negesa and Jacob Araptany will participate in the third UAF trials tomorrow at Mandela National stadium.
Negesa, the Maputo All Africa games gold medalist will go for 800m and 1500m while Araptany will feature in the 3000m steeplechase.
Both rising athletes represented Uganda at the Africa Cross country tourney last month in CapeTown. Stella Chesang and Ben Siwa are also new entrants.
According to UAF official, Faustino Kiwa, all entries were meant to be submitted before Thursday. Ali Ngaimoko, a 200m and 400m could qualify for Olympics if he improves his previous times.
