Sekisambu steers Express FC to five point lead in Bell USL

Erisa Sekisambu, struck when it matter most as he steered his side Express FC to a 1-0 win over relegation candidates Hoima/Busia FC in a Bell Super League clash at Mutesa II Stadium, this afternoon at Wankulukuku.

Sekisambu a January signing  from arch-rivals SC Villa, who has been on a roll struck 56 minutes into the game calmly converting a dangerous cross from Julius Ogwang which had Bonney Baingana doing a dummy to confuse the Hoima-Busia backline to give the home side a deserved lead in this scrappy encounter.

The two sides played a scrappy game with a few glimpses of brilliance from the visitors with wonder boy Bonney Baingana,Yayo Lutimba and industrious Ogwang to build play in the final third, but a backward playing Hoima-Busia side thwarted several of the Red Eagles raids at their goal.

The win gave the Red Eagles an assailing four point lead in the Bell Uganda Super League.

The Red Eagles have 42 points out of 21 games while last year’s champions URA FC lie second with 38 points. Sam Ssimbwa, has never lost infront of the SuperSports camera on match day live.
