Sekagya on the mark as Red Bull Salzburg storm semis in ÖFB Samsung Cup

Former national skipper Ibrahim Sekagya, was on the mark for his side Red Bull Salzburg as they stormed the semi-finals of the ÖFB Samsung Cup, with a 4-1 win over Red Bull Juniors last night in Austria.

Sekagya, who was scoring his second goal of the season struck in the 75 minute as his side stormed the semi-finals of the Austrian Cup. The former Ugandan international is on course to claim his first domestic double since joining the Austrian giants six season’s ago.

The win was a morale booster for his side going into Saturday’s tough encounter with hot rivals Sturm Graz in a do or die tie.

Salzburg top the ten team Austrian Bundesliga with 49 points one better than their closest rivals Austrian Bundesliga.

The towering Ugandan defender who is the vice captain of his side will be seeking his third Bundesliga title with his side.
