Kitende turns to God as Kibuli and Kawempe failt to win again in Copa Coca Cola

It was a humbling moment this Sunday Morning in Tororo as soccer players of St. Mary’s Kitende SS flocked church at the Cathedral to attend the morning mass. Led by their skipper Dan Birikwalira who set is to miss a couple of games due to injury, the champions clad in Black and Red jackets were seen attending prayers as other schools were still taking breakfast.

Edward Golola’s boys have so far been impressive scoring 14 goals and conceding none in 4 games. They are the only school with 100% record at the tournament and are

favorites to retain the crown. In yesterday’s games, there were varying fortunes for other favorites as Buddo SS, Old Kampala and Namagabi SS bagged wins.

However, it was another bad day at office for Kibuli SS who were held to a goal less draw by Nakaseke Int. College while Kawempe Muslim was thrashed 4-0 by Nawanyango SS.

TODAY’S 9.00 AM RESULTS:

K’la 3-2 Najja Muslim.

St. Johns Busia 1-2 Nyangila.

Risah 2-2 UMHS Rubaga.
