Top golfers Morris Ntege and professional Brian Toolit, walked off the par 72 Kitante golf course glaring with pride after claiming a win and valuable points at the MTN April monthly mug at the Uganda Golf Club on Saturday.
Ntege, returned to the club house with a 72 gross score on count back to claim the men’s overall prize at the month. The youthful golfer beat a strong entry of 150 golfers who returned with some great scores on the evening.
Karanja Karubuyu won group A with 72 nett on count back to beat off Joseph Mawejje while group B was claimed by Joon Dong Kim with a blistering score of 69 nett on count back.
John Bosco Tumusiime with a score of 67 nett won group C. UPDF’s Evalyn Asiimwe, was group A ladies winner with 68 nett.
Annette Kiconco 68 nett on count back. Brian Toolit beat a total of eight professional golfers with a gross score of 68 to claim this month’s points in the race for the overall MTN Pro Golf Series.
