Sadolin Paints is set to fund and take on works to refurbish and sand the Lugogo hockey grounds, according to the Uganda Hockey Federation officials. Company managing director, Mr. Chris Nugent, is committed to fully taking on the expenses that would be involved with the sanding of the astro turf pitch.
The Uganda Hockey Association will make sure that it takes on the fencing project (fence the astro turf pitch); to the required standards. The sanding and the fencing projects of the hockey pitch have not only been done as maintenance projects, but this will go along way to prevent intruders on the pitch and also renovate the pitch. Close to 30 million shillings will be spent on these projects, sources revealed.
