
With the remarkable increase in the number of schools taking on the sport, Uganda Woodball Federation (UWBF) belive woodball among the youth is on the rise. UWBF administrator, John Baptist Kateregga was impressed by the quality exhibited by Bashir Magumba, Patrick Mukama and Dennis Muyanja who faired well for St. Aloysious SSS Nabbingo, the only school at the recent second beach woodball clinic.
“They are potentially good and will be impressive in the future” he said. UWBF has also kept eyes on rookie, Benise Nanjeru
who did well in the first circuit but failed to be at the second. Over 100 schools have already taken up the sport that is less than a decade old in this country.
