Police FC will aim to obtain three valuable points when they host wounded Masaka LC at Namboole stadium on tomorrow. The cops are still in a fight for survival and can’t afford any slip up at such moment in the league. However, in Masaka LC, they face a stern test.
Sam Timbe’s side won their previous game against fellow
relegation candidates Fire Masters and 2-0 and the Brazilian trained tactician will hope for the same response from his boys. The game was Timbe’s first in charge this season. Eddy Kaweesa is expected to maintain his role as the custodian with experienced trio of David Iga, Ssevume Siraje and Kayondo marshalling the rearguard. Nanik Muzamir is expected to run the show in the middle of the pack while Arthur Ssemazi and Jimmy Kakembo will lead the hunt for goals.
Kefa Kisala’s side that have lost two league games in a row will also want to regain their winning touch and are expected to play like wounded lions. Right back Ssebuliba Dan returns after missing the loss to Simba due to suspension. Leading marks man Kyambadde Rashid and midfielder Ssekitoleko Mike who both returned from injury against Simba are expected to start. Police FC lie 13th with 21 points just one place above the relegation zone while Masaka LC are 7th with 35 points.
