Wanderers vs. Charity – Lugogo
Defending champions and table leaders Charity will aim to set a three match winning streak when they face Wanderers in the National Women’s Cricket League duel at Lugogo on Saturday. Charity on 12 points will increase their shield to the title if they clear a daring Wanderers side out of the way.
Wanderers won their first league clash against Gayaza at Lugogo whereas Charity collected six vital points away in Jinja against JACC last Saturday. Being the biggest tie on the day, it will have a huge say in the table standings after action. Wanderers’ skipper, Mary Nanderega is confident that her side can pull off the result even though they lost to Charity last season. “My team is ready and we shall be up to the task” said Nanderega who poised 41 runs before being bowled out by Gayaza’s Faimah Konso five days ago.
