Sofapaka 2-1 AFC Leopards
Uganda international Musa Mudde has seen his side finish the Kenyan Premier League first round on top after beating giants AFC Leopards 2-1 at Nyao stadium this evening. Former Harambe stars striker John Baraza scored a brace netting a goal in each half. The veteran striker headed in a Musa Mudde cross in the 14th minute before adding a second on the hour mark.
Imbalambala netted Leopard’s consolation in the 69th minute. Sofapaka FC ends the first half of the KPL on top with 32 points. The match was more of a Ugandan affair as Ugandans Abbas Kiwalabye (AFC LEOPARDS) and Jimmy Bageya all played the game. The KPL goes into break for close to a month. In another game played, former KCC FC and Maroons’ Ivan Anguyo’s Gor Mahia drew goal less with Western Stima.
