Early league pace setters Express FC host struggling Maroons FC at Namboole stadium in a game they must win to keep their hopes of winning their first league title since 1996 alive. The Red eagles have suffered a dip in form winning just once in their last five games and saw the team drop to fourth on the table.

Coach Sam Ssimbwa is expected to maintain young player of the year nominee Jamal Salim in goal despite the lad conceding a silly goals in their last game against KCC FC which they lost 2-0 on Tuesday. Kasozi Bob and Katongole Henry are expected at the heart of defence while Yayo Lutimba is expected to fill in for the injured Ismail Kazibwe at left back with Kavulu Godfrey playing at right back. Skipper Willy Kavuma and Bonny Baingana are expected in midfield along side Ssempala Hashim. Former Villa striker Ssekisambu Erias will need the line with Julius Ogwang.

Maroons FC Coach Asaph Mwebaze is expected to field Akol Emma in goal with Rukundo Denis, Sylvester Okello and Oguttu Samuel keeping thing tight at the back. Okello Maxwell, Alex Tuliraba and Kigongo Dickson in midfield while Player of the year Nominee George Abege is expected to lead the front three forward that include Peter Otai and Kisuju Isaac.

Maroons last game in the league was a 2-1 loss to Hoima-Busia FC while Express FC lost 2-0 to rival KCC FC. Express FC lie fourth on the table on 44 points and a win coupled with a loss for Proline FC against Bidco FC. The Prisons side won the reverse fixture 2-0 with Isaac Kisujju and Akena Brian on target.
