
Proline FC 0-1 Bidco FC. Proline FC’s hopes of winning their maiden title this season have been delt a blow after suffering a shock 1-0 loss to visiting coachless Bidco FC at Mandela stadium this afternoon. Patrick “Crespo” Asiku’s 41st minute strike was enough for the Jinja based side to stun Abdallah Mubiru’s side. The big striker beat an off side trap by Proline FC rear guard and cooly converted after beating Proline custodian Mugabi Yasin for the solitary strike of the game.
From then on, Proline began to dominate proceedings but failed break a resilient visitor’s back line led by Balaba Franco and Otongo William. It was Proline FC’s second game in a row with out registering a win having drawn blanks with another Jinja side Victors FC on Tuesday this week.
The loss means Proline FC remain 3rd on the 16 team log on 46 points but can only stay there if Express FC fails to bag maximum points in their game against Maroons which is later this evening leapfrogs Maroons FC to 11th.
With URA FC being held to a one all draw by Police FC in Lugazi, Proline still has faint hopes for the title but with prayers that URA FC falters. Interim Bidco FC Coach Kyesimire Arthur had to watch the last 10 minutes of the game in the stands after referee Kalema Ronnie chased him from the dug out for over protesting his decision. The game was Proline’s first on T.V this season.
