Rwenzori vs. Cheetahs – Kampala Club
Reaching the final of this year’s (tenth edition) Bamburi Rugby Super Series has been Dimension Data Rwenzori’s ultimate goal since the tournament’s start. A 19-10 win over fellow Uganda franchise side KCB Victoria at Kyadondo grounds only made the statement clear last Saturday. Coach Fred Mudoola believes the final is not far away as his side hosts Kenyan side SDV Transami Cheetahs at Legendary bar tomorrow.
Rwenzori will face a few changes as Paul Kabazzi and legendary fly half Edmond Tumusiime will be experimented in the side. Prop Brian Odong could be replaced at front row by the former. In the other semi final, Lions play Rhinos, a Kenyan derby in Nairobi. No Ugandan side has won the Bamburi Super series since the inauguration.
