Injury hit SC Villa visit Hoima-Busia

Tue: 29th/05/2012, Bugembe – 4.00PM
Mike Mutebi’s SC Villa travel to Bugembe to take on Hoima-Busia with a thin squad following injuries to most of the players at the club. The blues will be without a number of key players for the tie including Patrick Ssenfuka, Ochan Benjamin, Muleme Isaac, Noah Ssemakula, and Ayub Kisaliita. However, good news for the jogoos is the availability of influential Steven Bengo from suspension plus the defensive duo of Okoth Denis and Kabanda Mike from injury. Midfielder Ssempal Charles also returns to the squad for the first time since March
Luyima Sulaiti may be given a rare start in goal after Mulindwa Muwonge’s howlers against URA FC that cost the team. Club top scorer Nadula Moses is expected to run the show in midfield with Acema Robert and Kirabira Isaac completing the trio. Herman Wasswa, Bengo Steven and Musamali Paul are expected to be the front three men in attack.
Peter Oguttu’s side will need no less than three points from the game if they are to enlighten their chances of surviving the drop. However, with Villa desperate to finish the league a decent position, it will be asking too much from a side that will be playing their fourth game in eight days. Isiko Ayub and Mugabi Martin must be at their best if the hosts are to shock the record league champions.
SC Villa won the reverse fixture 1-0 courtesy of Ndaula Moses’ solitary strike. Hoima-Busia lie 13th on the 16 team log with 21 points while SC Villa are eighth on 40 points.
