Proline FC will be keen on regaining their winning touch when they host Sam Timbe’s Police FC at Nakivubo stadium in the Bell Uganda Super league. Abdallah Mubiru’s side has now gone two games without registering a win something that has dented their hopes of winning their maiden league title this season. The side has drawn and lost 0-0 and 0-1 to Victors FC and Bidco FC respectively in their last two league outings.
This has seen the side drop on the 16 team log from second to fourth last week on 46 points a massive eight behind leaders URA FC and practically ruling them out of the race for the title.
William Wadri Kadogo and Anthony Bongole who were lethargic in their 0-1 loss to Jinja based Bidco FC are still expected to lead the hunt for goals with Gift Ali and Apollo Razak running the show in the middle of the pack. Yusuf Mukisa and Denis Bigala are expected at the heart of defence with a huge task of stopping of Jimmy Kakembo and Bruno Olobo at hand.
Sam Timbe’s Police, unbeaten in their last five games since he took charge won’t be a walk over as they try to fight the relegation monster. The cops are expected to rely on Sula Lwanga’s dead ball expertise and Jimmy Kakembo poaching instincts to hurt Proline FC.
The cops are seated fourth from bottom on the table with 29 points and yet to survive the drop with merely four games to play. The first round fixture ended in a barren draw though both teams had different coaches then, Mujib Kasule was in the dug out for Proline while Angelo Lonyesi was in charge at Police.
