KCC FC striker Eddie Mubiru is set for transfer talks with Kenyan giant soccer team Gor Mahia FC. According to Futaa.com, Kenya’s leading sports website, the young star will arrive in Kenya next week. Gor Mahia has been following the former St. Marys Kitende student since last year following his impressive displays with the Wakiso based school in the Brookside East African Secondary Schools Championships held in Mbarara in which he was voted as the best player in the competition.
The club even tried to sign him under Coach Anaba Awono in the January transfer window but the window closed before the deal had been sealed. Eddie Mubiru is the second Ugandan soccer player that Gor Mahia is intending to sign with Dan Sserunkuma also on the verge of joining the club from fellow KPL side City stars FC.
The KCC FC youngster has not had the best of his debut season at the club but did score a goal against Express FC that is set be a contender for the goal of the season. However, his talent has never been in doubt. Club secretary George Bwana also confirmed the development and is conviced Mubiru will impress the technical team.
