Raymond Bukenya scored 16 points to help Eagles beat Vegetarian 72-59 on Saturday evenning at YMCA. Eagles (3-5) took the first quarter 23-8 but Vegetarians chipped away in the second period and came with in 6 with 3:22 to the end of the quarter. Vegetarian (1-6) kept treaming away in the third and came as closer as 29-32 with 8:41 but that was the closest they could all the way.

Ivan Rumanyika’s 8 points went along with 20 rebounds. Vegetarian, Micheal Oling scored game high 21 points, Lawrence Waligo added 10 points and picked 15 rebounds.

Philip Ameny scored 21 points and added 14 rebounds to lead Falcons to a 79-37 win over Ndejje University Angels. Stephen Omony added 18 points that went along with 14 rebounds on the Falcons dominant night. Ndejje had an  awful shooting night. The university side was 16-for-60 on field goals. Angels (3-5) were also out rebounded 60-31 as they slipped for their second straight game. Geofrey Soro led Ndejje with 14 points and picked 10 rebounds.

UCU Canons bounced from last week’s loss to Falcons with a 79-53 win over Rez Life. Bigman Desmond Owili paced UCU with 16 points and grabbed 11 rebounds. Boniface Okello added 14 points and Innocent Odur chipped in with 13. Canons (5-3) limited Rez Life (7-0) to 4 points in the third to equal season low points scored in a quarter. Suudi Ulanga didnt score a single field goal. the was 0-for-2 Field Goals and 0-for-8 on 3-point Field Goals. Davis Apuli led Rez Life with 16 points, Daniel Jjuko added 11 points but also turned the ball over 10 times. William Odong added 10 points.

Meanwhile in the women’s division, Martha Soigi poured in 22 points and grabbed 13 points to power KCCA Leopards to a 71-23 blow out victory over Nabisunsa on Sunday afternoon. Sarah Nassuna added 15 points and Joyce Zalwango put put 14 points for the Leopards. Ruth Nakitto scored 8 points for Nabisunsa.
UCU Lady Canons torched Crane High Ladies 85-24. Four Lady Canons scored in double digits led by Peace Proscovia 14 points, Purity Adhiambo 12 points, Maureen Amoding and Loreen Akiny scored 11 each. Sarah Ageno scored 8 points for Crane High.
MUK Cubs got into the way of the Magic Storm on Saturday afternoon and were blown out 63-11. Stormer Carol Nyafwono nailed game high 22 points and grabbed 20 rebounds and Julie Nakafeero added 15 points. Kimberly Ibale and Yaz Kasimu scored 3 points each for Cubs. A1 Challenge edged Amazon Rhino 48-43 led by Vickie Ntale’s 16 points and 10 rebounds. Fenni Belinda led Amazon with 14 points.
