Former Express FC and Victors FC diminutive forward Daniel “Mzee” Sserunkuma has finally completed a move to Kenyan Premier league giants Gor Mahia FC. This finally puts to end the speculation as we had earlier reported here at Kawowo.com. The striker who has been on Gor’s wanted list since the opening of the mid season transfer has penned a two and half year deal at the club according to Kenya’s leading sports website Futaa.com. The club’s Croation born Coach Zdravko Logarusic also confirmed the
development. “I am delighted to have Dan in the team.
He has been impressive at his former club but we’re still looking for another striker to bolster our attack”, he stated. The forward scored five goals in the first round of the Kenyan Premier League (KPL) while at Nairobi City Stars FC. The fee for his transfer has not been revealed but it is rumoured that Gor has paid Ksh 350,000 for the signature of the Ugandan forward. Dan Sserunkuma will be available for the club’s friendly game this Saturday against giants Tusker FC. This means two Ugandans have so far completed transfers to Kenyan sides this June with Zinda Hussein also signing for Karuturi FC from Utoda FC.
