Red Cross seals medic services for Pearl Rally It may not be the most dangerous sport but motorsport is widely known to be a life taking sport for its fans.

The Uganda Red Cross joined Pearl Rally in providing medical services for the event that takesplace from July 13-15 in Kampala. Red Cross will provide seven fully equipped ambulances and close to 35 staff,drugs and other medical equipment will be provided.

The event, fifth on the Africa Rally Championship calendar is set to attract 40 drivers. According to Federation of Motorsport Uganda (FMU) president, George Kagimu, 15 of the drivers are foreign.

Only ARC leader, Essa Mohammed from Zambia and Rwandan Giancarlo Davite have completed the entry forms. Shell Uganda Limited has already injected a tune of shs.170m in this year’s edition.
