Elgon Warriors vs. England Counties, 4pm Nairobi
Elgon Warriors, a select side of Uganda and Kenyan rugby players will face the England Counties today at the Rugby Football Union of East Africa (RFUEA) grounds, Nairobi. With the aim of reversing the 39-5 loss at Kyadondo last Saturday, coach Ham Osando will need his best 15 at their best.
Fly half Edmond Tumusiime was called to intervene but it will be up to Osando to field him.
Warriors would have won the first encounter but lack of concentration in the first 20 minutes of second half costed them dearly. It was 5-3 in their favour but they conceded a penalty a minute away from half time.
Scrum half Harry Peck did alot of harm in the center and Warriors looked so porous. At Justin Kimono’s wing, there were two touchdowns.
