
Federation Of Uganda Football Association (FUFA) has rewarded Uganda cranes player with Shs 70m as bonus for thumping Congo Brazzaville 4-0 in an AFCON 2013 qualifying tie played at Mandela stadium, Namboole. In a function held at Sojovalo Hotel today afternoon, FUFA president Lawrence Mulindwa thanked players and the technical team for work well done. “I would like to thank you for the result but this isn’t the end. You must continue performing well not only for your self but for all Ugandans”, he said. The federation boss also thanked fans who gave full support to the team. “I must thank the fans who made it to Namboole and supported the team”. The Cranes qualified for the final round of the qualifiers after the 4-0 win yesterday over turned the 3-1 defeat suffered in the first leg played in Pointre Noir to win the tie 5-3 on aggregate. The draws for the final round is set for mid July in Johanesburg.
