Dorcus Inzikuru will forever remember July 6th of this year in her life. The 3000m steeplechase athlete beat her opponents to the finish line in 9:30.95 at the sixth edition of the International Athletics Bottrop Meet in Germany on Friday. The feat saw her earn a ticket to the 2012 London summer Olympics after beating the qualifying start A (9:43.00).
It will be her second Olympics edition after finishing 24th overall in the 5000m in Athens, Greece in 2004.
