NATIONAL KICBOXING TITLE FIGHT

Malik Kaliisa v Titus Tugume

Friday 13, July 7pm

Lugogo MTN Arena

“You know boxing is boxing you never know but I hope Kaliisa can win because of the serious training I have given him”
Rozman Istvan is a professional kick boxing coach but also a proven judge and referee in the same sport. Currently he is coaching Malik ‘The hit man’ Kaliisa ahead of tomorrow national title fight with Titus ‘Hard’ Rock Tugume.

After watching the first fight involving the two fighters, the Hungarian trainer revealed to kawowo.com  that Kaliisa was cheated. “He Kaliisa) brought down Titus (Tugume) in the fourth round and that was a clear knock out,” Istvan said.

“I don’t know why the referee didn’t declare Malik winner,” he added. That knock down was the only time Kaliisa got the better of Tugume in the five rounds, which were by far, dominated by the latter.
Istvan is also impressed with his fighter’s positive response to train in the 12 days they have been together. “Before he was slow in his movements and techniques but I explained to him and he learnt very fast, he will be much better than last time,” Istvan said.
About their opponent at the MTN Arena in Lugogo, Istvan is well aware that it will not be a walk in the park especially if Kaliisa is the underdog. “Titus is aggressive and more of a puncher, his leg is not dangerous but malik is good at both right now.”  “Kick boxing is Kick boxing but if our plan works out there is no reason why Malik can’t win,” he said.
