Titus Tugume defended his national kickboxing title after Malik Kaliisa could not continue with a dislocated shoulder. Tugume stamped his feet and as early as the first round put Kaliisa straightway was on the receiving end at the crowd’s amusement.
Led by the ghetto president Bobi wine and his wife Barbie, they started leaving the arena one by one. It was in the second round when Kaliisa’s shoulder could not allow him to continue but insisted he was able to continue.
To the anguish of Tugume’s corner, the fight was stopped as Malik received medical attention from a medic who incidentally was Tugume’s doctor. Not even the intervention of promoter Sylvia Owori who kept on wondering why trainer could not stop the fight would save Kaliisa.
