Mugalu, Odur join KCC FC in a mega deal

Kampala City Council Authority Football Club has secured the signatures of strikers Tony Odur and Yuda Mugalu from Bunamwaya SC and DC Motema Pembe. The duo put pen to paper today afternoon in a deal that saw the city club cough a mega cash of Ugx 36 million for the duo. Both players were free agents after expiry of their contracts at their clubs.

Kawowo sports had earlier reported that the former Express FC forward was on the verge of joining the Lugogo based side and this latest report confirms the deal has been struck. Yuda Mugalu joins the club from the Congo side he joined two years ago from Victors FC following impressive performances against the same side in a CAF Cup tie over two legs.

Odur has spent four seasons at the Wakiso based side helping the club to a league title in 2009 and to the finals of the Bell Uganda Cup last season where they lost to URA FC. Mugalu re-unites with his former tactician George Best Nsimbe at Victors FC. KCC FC has been lethargic upfront ever since the departure of the trio of Umony Brian, Robert Ssentongo and Anthony Bongole three years ago. The signing of the duo is expected to boast their attack. The club recently recieved a package of Ugx 200 million from the City authority to boast their squad and also improve the players’ welfare.
