URA FC Vs Vita Club – 2pm
Simba SC Vs Ports – 4pm
Live on SS9 & 9 East. National stadium, Dar es Salam.
Uganda’s representatives URA FC will have their eyes set on the quarter final spot when they take on guest team Vita Club of DR. Congo.
The tax collectors won their opener 0-2 against home team Simba SC courtesy of a Moses Feni brace and will need to emulate that performance if they are to beat Vita club that humiliated Ports of Djibouti with a 7-0 score line.
Coach Alex Isabirye is expected to maintain the same team that beat Simba but will urge midfielders Owen Kasule and Said Kyeyune to tripple their efforts after giving the ball away too many against Simba. The former Maroons FC midfielder was even lethargic infront of goal missing two clear cut chances early in the second half.
Robert Ssentongo and Moses Fen are the men expected to lead the hunt for goals. The Bell Uganda cup must however keep a sharp eye on the tournament’s leading goal scorer Taddy Etekiama who bagged a quartet against Ports.
A win for each of the two sides will guarantee passages to the quarter finals. Elsewhere, Simba – less Okwi will be keen to revive hopes when they take on whipping boys Ports FC. Ugandan midfielder Musa Mudde is expected to be in midfield partnering Kazimoto.
All games are live on Super sport.
