
Uganda Cranes Head Coach Bobby Williamson has this morning released a squad of 25 players who will start training next week in preparation for an International friendly match against Malawi in Blantyre City on August 15.
The list has three U-20 players getting elevated to the National team after their brilliant performance against
Ghana last weekend. The three players making it to the senior side are Nicholas Wadada from Bunamawaya Sc, KCC’s Joseph Ochaya and Geoffrey Kizito who plays his professional football in Vietnam.
The rest include Denis Onyango, Hamza Muwonge, Ali Kimera, Massa Simeon, Guma Denis, Andrew Mwesigwa, Kalungi Henry, Isinde Isaac, Owino Joseph, Walusimbi Godfrey, Ochaya Joseph, Oloya Moses, Wagaluka Dan, Mawejje Tonny, Kizito Geoffrey and Wasswa Hassan.
Others are Bengo Steven, Matovu Sula, Massa Geoffrey, Umony Brian, Okwi Emmanuel, Ssentongo Robert, Hamis Kiiza, Sserumaga Mike and Nicholas Wadada. Bobby who is on a shortly holiday in Scotland returns early next week before the team convenes on Wednesday August 8th.
