Dmark Kobs sponsorship

After six months of dialogue, the reigning Uganda cup champions Kobs secured a five-year corporate sponsorship deal with DMark Mobile.

The telecom service company took over from Uganda telecom and henceforth the new club name, DMark Kobs.

“We’ll use this sponsorship to keep the name Kobs up the ranks” Kobs’ acting director of rugby Tonny

 Stone Luggya added.

In the same vein, DMark’s CEO Robert Semakula believes their merging will help Kobs meet their strategies. “Both parties hope for the best outcomes,” he said.

The partnership, a tune of Shs80m annually and negotiable every two years, will see DMark meet Kobs’ annual budgets ranging from team kits, players’ allowances, licenses, training costs, refreshments and medical mandatory fees.

Kobs’ players will be involved in joint corporate social responsibility projects such as blood donations.
It may be DMark’s first time to venture into Ugandan rugby but not sport in general.

They sponsor men’s Division 1 basketball league title holders DMark Power, a Kampala Kids League side and DMark Chess team.
