He has been ready for a world title since he was a baby undefeated lightweight boxer Sharif “The Lion”Bogere,has stated in an interview with boxing journalist David Kassel.
Bogere who is in negogiation with Cuban boxer Richard Abril to fight for the vacant WBA lightweight title in October if the talks end up successfully.
“I have been ready for a title since I started getting on my feet when I was a baby (laughing) But yeah,I’m ready now,” a cheeky Bogere told Kassel in an interview.
The Las Vegas based fighter is (23-0,15 KOs) and has been rising in the in his 135 pound division and now is beckoning of landing a world title shot under Golden Boy promotions his promoters. The Ugandan prize fighter is ranked number four by World Boxing Association while World Boxing Council ranks him at number 11.
