Great start for DMark Kobs in Ecobank 7s

DMark Kobs came off a three month lull since they lost the last season’s Nile Special Rugby Premier League to win the opening leg of the Ecobank National 7s circuit in Entebbe yesterday. And with a new financial backer, they pulled it off to defeat Toyota Buffaloes 14-0 tries from Jospeh Aredo and Timothy Mudoola and conversions from James Ejongat and Ambrose Kamanyiire in the Main Cup final yesterday.
But in consolation, Buffaloes’ Philip Wokorach was named Most Valuable Player (MVP) and walked away with Shs200, 000. Wokorach had solely eliminated titleholders MTN Heathens with a try and conversion. The second leg is set slated for Makerere this Saturday.
