
Close to 100 junior golfers will pass out at the end of the Uganda Ladies Golf Union Holiday Golf Clinic tomorrow at the par 72 Kitante Golf Course at the Uganda Golf Club.
The junior golfers will first play a foursome tournament with their parent to determine who will walk away with a prize from the organisers ULGU.
The purpose of the clinic of the clinic that started on August 6 was meant to teach young golfers from the age of 6-18 the basics of golf and also to identify future stars for the game of golf.
The clinic was supervised and conducted by professional golfers from Uganda Golf Club,Jinja Golf Club,Mbarara Golf Club and Entebbe Golf Club.
The clinics will be held every school holiday at various golf clubs in the country with the best students reeturning for a tournament in December. This programme has produced several golfers who have gone on to win several tournaments on the local golfing calendar.
