In-form pair of Hannington Nsubuga and Isaac Omedo,remained supreme on the white sands of Lido Beach Resort,Entebbe as they claimed the men’s Club Beer National Volleyball circuit third leg on Sunday.
The duo who have won back to back circuits starting with the second leg where just too good for their opponents Ambrose Otim and Dickens Okello, beating them 2-1(21-14,18-21,15-13).
Enroute to their victory they beat the pair of Matthew Mwenyi and Amon Ainebyona in the semi-finals 21-10,21-16.
It was not only them that where basking in glory over their exploits at the Lake Side resort. In the women’s game Christine Alupo and Peace Busingye upset Alice Okecho and Lilian Okiror 21-16,21-16 in a thrilling and tense game just like the men’s.
It’s the third and second leg of this crowd pulling circuit that will reach a climax with the overall winners being declared at the same venue. Nile Breweries under their flagship brand Club Pilsner are the sponsors of this circuit that leads to rankings and pairs gaining valuable points from the Uganda Volleyball Federation.
