Proline FC striker Patrick Edema is back at the club following the end of his loan deal at Ethiopia’s St. George. The youthful striker who left the club at the end of the 2010/12 season is currently training with the team at East Kololo Primary School Grounds.

Proline FC director Mujib Kasule told the club’s official website that plans are in place to have him registered for the upcoming local season.

“He is our player. He has returned from Ethiopia and

we are working on some other deals for him elsewhere. But such deals do take long to get through and should such a thing happen, he will play for us in the forthcoming season,” said Mujib.

Edema’s return would be a great addition to Abdallah Mubiru’s attack that has veteran Anthony Bongole, William Wadri Kadogo, Ismail Kabugu and Julius Okocha.
“Edema is a very disciplined and committed player, so having him back would be a great bonus. But we shall keep trying to get him a club overseas,” added Mujib.

Edema becomes the second Ugandan player in this window to rejoin his side from a foreign club after midfielder Mike Mutyaba who rejoined Vipers SC from Sudan side El-Merrick albeit on a loan deal.
