Wanderers vs. Charity TF – Kyambogo
Wanderers suffered a double loss (36 runs and eight wickets) to table leaders Tornado last weekend and will settle for nothing short of victory when they play Charity Trust Fund at the University Oval in Kyambogo on Saturday.
“Most of my players have busy work and academic schedules but we have to fight back,” Wanderers’ captain Mary Nanderenga told Kawowo Sports.
Out of the four games, Wanderers have just won and tied two games to account for their nine points. They lie fourth on the log, 18 points behind second-placed Charity. Meanwhile, the Charity dressing room aims to go top ahead of Tornado (31) if they win both games.
“We will put up our best performance and ensure we top the chart,” Flavia Laker, the titleholders’ skipper said. Charity have picked five bonus points, the highest in the tournament so far including two against Gayaza last weekend.
