Nemo Stars will have to do more than appearing on court for their game two in the national volleyball playoffs where they trail 1-0 to Sport-S. In game one, Nemo gave away 16 serves and their block was far from good as Sport-S registered a 3-2 victory.

“We are going to minimize on the mistakes we did and build on the good performance we had on the day,” said Nemo’s deputy coach Juma Asengu. Skipper George Aporu will be expected to lead by example after he was responsible for most the points that where lost on the day.

“We have forgotten about the Friday lose but concentrating on the game ahead,” added Asengu. Juma and his boss Anthony Ndawula will not only need Aporu but also the brilliance of Louis Mubangizi, Tom Amou, Okum Smith, Anthony Olowuko, and Eric Ojamunge if they are to pull this one off.

Sport-S who are also the 2010 champions, will be looking at denying Nemo the chance to level matters as victory tonight will see also see the latter in the final. “We are a young hungry side, who know the right button to press when Nemo is on the other side of the court,” said Sport-S coach Daniel Kakooza.

In the women’s game, KAVC will need to replicate their performance in game one if they are to qualify for the finals at the expense of Uganda Christian University Doves. The former lead s the series 1-0.
