
The result meant Wanderers remained stuck on 59 points, lost top spot to Tornado (61) and will wait a little longer when the two face off in the league decider this weekend.

Ali Raza also reached double figures (14) as Charity bowlers Allan Ssenabulya (5/23) and Abraham Alema (2/10) shared seven wickets.
Despite Danny Strachan (4/40) and Davis Karashani’s (2/13) tight bowling, Alema returned with unbeaten 16 runs and Sharma Mukaya scored 19 as Charity reached 111 with two wickets in hand.
Charity moved to 45 points, on level with titleholders Patidar Samaj who suffered a five wicket loss to Tornado at Lugogo.
Skipper Frank Nsubuga (81 not out) led by example, Benjamin Musoke stroked 34 and Richard Okia added 26 (not out) as Tornado piled 181 runs to return top of the eight-team log.
At the bottom, Rounders (21) were not in action but were given a lifeline by Nile who whitewashed Challengers (19) by four wickets at the lakeside Oval in Entebbe.
