BELL UGANDA SUPER LEAGUE
Water vs. SC Villa – Luzira grounds
Kira Young vs. Masaka LC – Shimoni grounds
Uganda’s most successful football club, SC Villa are yet to drop a point in this year’s Bell Uganda Super League (USL). They amassed maximum points from their three games and lie third with nine points. Although on level, second placed side Express have a better goal difference (6). But Villa can leap frog to the top if they put four goals past opponents Water without the latter responding at the Luzira grounds on Friday.
It means Villa will have 12 points with a +9 goal difference and will be a goal better than top side Maroons (8). Villa have conceded five, scored 10 goals and only Express and Maroons have scored more (11). Two of the three are currently joint league top scorers (3 goals) in Hood Kaweesa and Dalaus Kiwalabye. New signing from Police Arthur Semazzi has two goals and coach Mike Mutebi is confident his side do as expected.
“We have to do what we have done in the past three games,” Allan Kizza, a Villa player said . In the other USL league, new comers Kira Young entertain Masaka LC at Shimoni Grounds. Meanwhile, live coverage on the USL by SuperSport returns next month.
