Boney Amale, kept his composure on a wet course to outwitted 152 golfers from various clubs in the country to claim the Castle Lite Entebbe Open Golf Championship on Saturday including national players.
Amale playing off handicap 7 returned to the club house with a perfect score of 38 stableford points on count back to claim the overall winner’s prize. He was not the only golfer receiving the plaudits Yona Ntegyereize playing off handicap 9 was group A winner with 39 points while Group B was captured by Andreas Eberhard with 37 points. Atif Dur was winner group C with 33 points.
Samalie Naikomba, playing off handicap 30 was Ladies overall winner with 42 points. Eva Magala was Ladies Group A winner with 31 points. Home golfer Maureen Okura, claimed group B with 34 points.
