Ndejje Ndejje Volleyball club will be counting an all the resources they have as they quest for their maiden league title at the expense of KAVC in the national women’s volleyball playoff final. Ndejje lead the best of five series 2-0 and a win today will present them with their first league title on their second straight attempt.

The two sides have met seven times this year alone and Ndejje have had the last laugh all the way. Despite the stat, Ndejje coach, Johnson Kawenyera, is still worry of the havoc KAVC can cause to spoil their party.

“This is the game, but I know KAVC is a team can change things, and am very conscious so are my players,” Kawenyera said. Ndejje will continue to hope that setter Jessica Kaidu is at her best as that the only way middle attackers Saidat Nungi and Christine Alupo find their rhythm.

Peace Busingye, Miriam Mamiiro and skipper Belindah Jepkirui will be required to keep their composure with their outside attacks, but the latter with her reception mostly. The return Harriet Tukahirwa will give KAVC edge in the middle especially with the short ball.  However, Coach Hannington Nsubuga hopes to continue benching Rachael Mugabi in favor Eunice Nuwabigaba.

Nuwabigaaba’s combination with Gloria Nantege in game two kept KAVC in the game for long spells especially with their double block. “There is no doubt that they have had a good run over us this year, but I don’t think it’s over yet, we are coming with our A game tomorrow(Today), Nsubuga said  In SerieB, KAVC will also be crowned champions if they can defeat Mulago, the former leads the series 2-0 already.  Men’s defending champions Nkumba and Nemo Stars are still have a long way to go as both sides are tied at one all.
