British Airways ‘Runs with a Heart” in MTN Marathon

British Aiways has entered a team of nine runners in this weekend’s MTN Kampala marathon that is slated for Kololo independence grounds. The team is led by the airlines country manager Faith Chaitezvi others on the team include Collette Ruzindana,Beatrice Baguma,Mariam Karia,Jolly Uwamahoro,Margaret Kasigazi,Paul Serugunda,John Byantalo and Irene Katende. The team will take part in the 10 kilometer corporate race as they race for the cause of giving back to the community. ‘We decided to take part in the marathon mainly because of the cause behind the event- to provide water and safe sanitation to the people of Bududa district,” Chaitezvi said in a press statement. “We share in the responsibility to contribute to the necessities of life and reach out for those whose lives are at stake for lack of what we regard a human right. Our heart indeed was moved as the marathon’s slogan ‘Run with your Heart” to make a difference in Bududa District.”
